Junior Associate, BI Full Time

Jr. Associate, BI is responsible for tasks related to the delivery of reports to external clients, in accordance with predefined deadlines and quality standards.

They ensure that reports are delivered to a specific group of clients within the agreed timeframe, based on the relevant contractual agreements. They serve as the point of contact for local teams and all other departments involved in the report delivery process.

The incumbent will play a key role in setting up, executing, and publishing the reports, troubleshooting issues at every stage of the process until delivery is complete. They provide timely and appropriate solutions to delivery-related issues through an internal communication system. They also actively participate in training sessions for other team members.

What you’ll do:

• Uses specialized applications to send reports to external clients
• Responsible for configuring and managing client access to portals for receiving reports
• Performs quality control on all deliveries during distribution by:
• Checking the content of the deliveries
• Confirming quality control and data publication
• Maintain regular client reports (refresh data, check / add comments, implement changes, address technical issues, manage the delivery calendar and the deliveries)
• Review data for errors and inconsistencies, flag data quality issues
• Suggest and implement ways of improving/automating existing deliverables
• Share and actively search for best practice examples and implement the approach in own work whenever possible

Qualifications

We’re looking for people who have:

• Student or graduate (Bachelor) of Marketing, Economics or related field, or technical/engineering studies
• Knowledge of Tech & Durables industry along with experience in GFK StarTrack Explorer (GSE) platform preferred
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, conditional functions, conditional formatting, chart building, and formatting); knowledge of VBA is an asset, PowerPoint
• Demonstrates operational focus, attention to detail and ability to work tight deadlines
• Strong communication skills, ability to document, present and educate others
