Role Description – Junior Software Engineer

Seceon Inc. is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Software Engineer to join our team in a full-time remote role. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to building advanced cybersecurity solutions.

In this role, you’ll support the development, testing, and maintenance of backend systems and applications. You’ll work closely with experienced engineers to write clean, efficient code, help improve workflows, and troubleshoot technical issues as they arise.

You’ll also collaborate with cross-functional teams—including product and security—to contribute to new features and enhancements within our AI-driven cybersecurity platform. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, is curious about how systems work, and is excited to build scalable, real-world solutions in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (B.Tech) or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field
• Strong foundational knowledge of Computer Science concepts and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Proficiency in programming and back-end web development
• Understanding of software development methodologies and best practices
• Good problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
• Basic familiarity with cybersecurity concepts or tools is a plus
