Role Description

Shyam Metalics and Energy Limited is seeking a Land Acquisition Manager for a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata. The role involves identifying potential land acquisition opportunities, conducting thorough research, and managing all activities related to land transactions. The Land Acquisition Manager will negotiate with landowners, facilitate due diligence processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate with internal teams and external agencies to finalize agreements. This position requires a strong understanding of land use planning, legal documentation, and financial aspects of acquisitions, as well as maintaining relationships with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Land Use Planning and Acquisitions, including knowledge of regulatory frameworks and legal processes related to land procurement.
• Proficient in conducting Market Research and analyzing market trends to identify viable land acquisition opportunities.
• Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate financial feasibility, risk assessments, and project viability.
• Understanding of Finance-related concepts, including budgeting, cost analysis, and financial modeling related to land acquisitions.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills for managing relationships with stakeholders and landowners.
• A bachelor’s degree in real estate management, urban planning, business administration, or a related field.
• Prior experience in land acquisition, real estate, or infrastructure development is highly advantageous.
• Proficiency in interpreting land and legal documents will be considered a plus.

• Knowledge of Bengali Language is mandatory.
