Job Purpose:

Evaluate & Develop Supplier, New component with consistent quality, delivery & at

competitive cost for stamping Parts, Plastic, Rubber Parts for Compressors. Apply Strategic commodity plan to mitigate supply chain risk and drive direct material velocity improvement & Cost Reduction programs. Work towards influencing suppliers to optimize quality, cost, manufacturability & sustainability.

• Components Development at existing or New Suppliers
• Supplier Development
• Conduct e-Sourcing for Components
• Supplier Outreach from Supplier base horizon
• Work with Sales, Operations, Quality & Engineering team
• Implement Engineering changes to maintain costs
• Integrate with Engineering for newly designed parts to meet quality; cost requirements

• Evaluate Cost details of various components
• Negotiate & Finalize Pricing with Suppliers
• Ensure competitive cost for Components
• Price Management in Software Data base
• Prepare Cost Breakdown Documents, Rate Cards

• Conduct Supplier Audits & Enhance Supplier Performance
• Ensure Corrective & Preventive Actions from Suppliers

• Ensure Supply chain Capacity supporting demand plan

Education And Professional Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Elecrtical/mechanical/Production Engineering, DBA/MBA is also preferred
• Experience of Working in Commodity Management & Supplier Quality Assurance
