Manager, Procurement Operations Full Time NEW

The Manager, Procurement Operations is responsible for day-to-day management of procurement operations delivery from PFI Innovation Centre India, supporting U.S. and global stakeholders. This role oversees requisition-to-purchase order execution, policy compliance, supplier enablement support, and operational issue resolution.

Reporting to the Director, Procure to Pay (P2P), the Procurement Operations Manager ensures consistent service delivery, strong controls, and continuous improvement across procurement processes, while leading teams and partnering closely with Category Management, Finance, and Technology.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement Operations Delivery

• Manage end-to-end procurement operations, including requisition review, purchase order creation, changes, and cancellations.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with global policies, controls, and preferred supplier frameworks.
• Support business users and Category Managers by resolving operational issues and escalations.

Service Delivery & Performance Management

• Own day-to-day service delivery for procurement operations, ensuring performance against defined SLAs and KPIs.
• Monitor workload, cycle times, quality, and backlog to ensure consistent and timely execution.
• Identify root causes of issues and implement corrective actions.

Process & Controls

• Ensure adherence to procurement controls, audit requirements, and risk management standards.
• Support audits and control testing by providing documentation, data, and issue remediation.
• Maintain strong governance across procurement execution activities.

Process Improvement & Automation

• Identify opportunities to standardize and streamline procurement processes.
• Partner with the Director and Technology teams on system enhancements, defect resolution, and automation initiatives.
• Improve data accuracy, reporting, and visibility for procurement operations performance.

Stakeholder Partnership

• Partner closely with U.S.-based Category Management, Finance, AP, and Technology teams to ensure smooth handoffs and issue resolution.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders across time zones to manage expectations and deliver results.

People Leadership

• Lead and develop procurement operations team members and team leads in PFI India.
• Manage performance, coaching, training, and knowledge transfer to build a scalable delivery model.
• Foster a culture of accountability, quality, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Commerce, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in procurement operations or procure-to-pay delivery.
• 3–5 years of people leadership experience, including leading teams in an offshore or shared services environment.
• Strong working knowledge of procurement processes, policies, and enterprise procurement systems.
• Experience supporting U.S.-based stakeholders and operating across time zones.
