Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL) is a greenfield venture of the Tata Group with expertise in manufacturing precision components.

Tata Electronics (a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd.) is building India’s first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry. This facility will produce chips for applications such as power management IC, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCU) and high-performance computing logic, addressing the growing demand in markets such as automotive, computing and data storage, wireless communications and artificial intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct business research based on the scope of the project using secondary sources, subscribed databases, and primary sources if needed
• Monitor global semiconductor & electronics market movements, technology shifts, and emerging opportunities.
• Develop Executive summaries, articles, speeches, talking points, reports and other documents for senior leadership covering electronics & semiconductor manufacturing, supply chain, customer, market trends, products, competition and others
• Partner with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, supply chain, finance, HR) to translate business requirements into actionable solutions.
• Present insights through concise, executive-level presentations and visualizations tailored for senior leadership.
• Ensure data integrity, governance, and compliance across processes.
• Work independently with minimal supervision to deliver high-quality outputs aligned with strategic priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering + MBA or with previous work experience in engineering projects/consultancy preferred.
• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing, packaging, or EMS ecosystem is preferred.
• Strong analytical and storytelling ability; detail-oriented and capable of synthesizing complex datasets into actionable insights.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Desired Experience Level

• 3+ years of experience in business analytics, , or consulting.
• Experience in semiconductor, electronics manufacturing, or EMS industries is a significant advantage.
