Role: Medical Operations Associate
We’re looking for a Medical Operations Associate to join our founding team at a fast-growing medical tourism company focused on delivering seamless global healthcare experiences. In this role, you’ll be the central point of coordination for every active patient case managing communication between patients, hospitals, and internal teams to ensure a smooth and reliable journey. This is a hands-on opportunity to build strong operational and problem-solving skills while working closely with the founders. If you’re someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership, and wants to make a real impact by supporting people through some of the most important moments of their lives, this role is a great place to start.
Key Responsibilities:
➔Coordinate with hospital partners across India and internationally to confirm
appointments, surgery dates, and documentation
➔Track each patient case through our 24-step operations workflow – from deposit
confirmation to post-travel follow-up
➔Communicate with patients and their families over WhatsApp, email, and calls –
keeping them informed, reassured, and on schedule
➔Manage patient documents: medical records, visa letters, pre-op requirements,
discharge summaries
➔Liaise with our travel and logistics partners for airport transfers, hotel bookings, and
local support
➔Flag delays or issues to the senior team immediately – no sitting on problems
➔Keep the patient dashboard updated in real time so the whole team knows exactly
where each case stands
Required Qualifications:
➔2-3 years of work experience – background in healthcare, hospitality, or operations is a plus, not a must
➔Genuinely organized. You’re the kind of person who makes lists for their lists and
follows through
➔Strong communicator – clear in writing, confident on calls, and comfortable talking to
patients who may be anxious or unwell
➔Comfortable working across time zones (our patients are mostly in the US, UK,
Germany, and Australia – some early morning or late evening coordination comes
with the territory)
➔Quick learner. We move fast and you’ll be expected to get up to speed without handholding
➔Empathy. We deal with real people going through real health challenges. That has to matter to you
