Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Microsoft System Administrator – IT Support. The Microsoft System Administrator will manage and maintain server infrastructures, ensure smooth system performance, provide technical support, and resolve hardware and software-related issues. Daily responsibilities also include troubleshooting technical problems, optimizing system configurations, and ensuring the organization’s information technology infrastructure operates efficiently and securely.

Salary – 30k to 40k

Key Responsibities

• Provide end-to-end user support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Configure and manage email systems, including SMTP setup and troubleshooting.
• Demonstrate understanding of POP vs IMAP protocols and their practical applications.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot network printers:
• Driver mode and UI mode setup
• IP-based printer configuration
• Support and maintain Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, etc.).
• Administer Microsoft 365 Admin Center, including:
• User account management
• License assignment
• Security and access control
• Manage and troubleshoot Microsoft Exchange (mailboxes, distribution lists, mail flow).
• Perform Windows OS installation and configuration:
• Using bootable drives (USB)
• Partitioning, formatting, and system setup
• Implement and monitor data backup solutions:
• OneDrive backup configuration
• Synology NAS backup management
• Configure and troubleshoot routers and basic network devices:
• IP addressing
• Connectivity issues
• Basic security configurations
