Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Tester with experience in testing Android and iOS applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in manual and automation testing, mobile application lifecycle, API testing, and defect management. The candidate will work closely with developers, business analysts, and product teams to ensure high-quality mobile applications are delivered to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for mobile applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, usability, and exploratory testing.
• Test mobile applications across multiple devices, operating systems, and screen resolutions.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.
• Validate application performance, responsiveness, and user experience.
• Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman or Swagger.
• Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Ensure quality standards and testing best practices are followed throughout the SDLC.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience in Agile development environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Mobile Testing: Android Testing, iOS Testing, Mobile Application Testing, Real Devices, Emulators, Simulators, Cross-Device Compatibility Testing.
• Testing Expertise: Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Smoke Testing, Sanity Testing, Integration Testing, UAT, Exploratory Testing, Defect Management.
• Automation Testing: Appium, Selenium, Mobile Automation Frameworks, TestNG/JUnit, Java, Python, JavaScript.
• API & Database Testing: REST API Testing, Postman, JSON/XML Validation, SQL, Data Validation.
• Methodologies: Agile, Scrum, SDLC, STLC, CI/CD.
• Good to Have: Mobile Performance Testing, Firebase, Charles Proxy, Fiddler, OWASP Mobile Security Concepts.
