Role Description As a Motion Graphic Designer Intern at Canvas & Co., you will support the creative team in producing animated and video-based content for digital campaigns, social media, and marketing assets. In this remote internship role, you will assist with storyboarding, designing visual elements, animating graphics, and editing short-form video content. You will collaborate with designers, marketers, and content creators to translate concepts and scripts into engaging motion graphics. Daily tasks may include preparing design files, adapting assets to various formats, incorporating feedback from stakeholders, and ensuring all deliverables align with brand guidelines and timelines.

• Strong skills in Motion Design and Motion Graphics, including animating text, icons, and illustrations.
• Experience or coursework in Video Production, such as storyboarding, basic editing, and post-production workflows.
• Proficiency in Graphic Design and Graphics, including layout, typography, color, and visual composition.
• Familiarity with industry-standard design and animation tools (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar).
• Portfolio or reel demonstrating motion design and graphic design projects, academic or personal work accepted.
• Ability to follow creative direction, incorporate feedback, and meet deadlines in a remote, collaborative environment.
• Strong attention to detail, visual storytelling ability, and interest in marketing and digital content.
• Current student or recent graduate in Design, Animation, Media, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
