Motion Graphics Editor

We are looking for a highly skilled, AI-first Video Editor & Animator to join our marketing and content team. You will be responsible for independently conceptualizing and creating a variety of videos from explainer animations to screen recordings to product ads using a combination of traditional tools and cutting-edge AI platforms.

This role requires deep experience in video production, storytelling, animation, and a strong command of both creative tools and AI-powered content generation. You’ll play a central role in helping us bring stories, products, and ideas to life through powerful video formats.

Understanding of product explainer videos and video creation for software products will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• AI-Assisted Video Creation:
• Use AI tools for scripting, storyboarding, concept creation, and video generation.
• Leverage tools like Midjourney, RunwayML, Pika Labs, D-ID, Synthesia, and other advanced platforms for text-to-video, image-to-video, and text-to-image creation.
• Bring an AI-first approach to ideation and execution.
• Full-Spectrum Video Production:
• Create explainer videos, 2D character animations, text-abstract-voiceover videos, and ad-style product videos.
• Record and edit screen walkthroughs (PiP style) and first-person/host-based tutorials.
• Add sound effects, transitions, voice-overs, and polish videos for high-quality delivery.
• Use text to speech for voice over creation and use AI based voice over tools
• Creative Development:
• Write short scripts and create storyboards for videos.
• Pitch video ideas aligned with marketing and brand goals.
• Source royalty-free visuals, music, and other assets as needed.
• Collaboration & Optimization:
• Work closely with the Product, Marketing, and Design teams to develop and refine video concepts.
• Adapt videos for different formats and platforms (YouTube, social media, website, email, etc.).
• Keep pace with new editing techniques, video trends, and AI tools.
• YouTube Channel Management
• Uploading videos to YouTube, setting their meta-data to ensure search and discoverability
• Creating Short form videos that appeal to Shorts/Reels
• Creating thumbnails that are catchy and drive clicks
• Ensuring views from YouTube grow

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in video editing, motion graphics, and animation.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and other industry-standard video creation and editing tools.
• Strong experience in motion graphics, 2D character animation, and explainer video creation.
• Deep familiarity with AI tools for content generation, video scripting, visual asset creation, and automation. AI based audio voice over from text to speech is also a must.
• Experience in screen recording, PiP-style editing, and host-based tutorial videos.
• Ability to write scripts, create visual storyboards, and manage video projects end-to-end.
• Strong storytelling instincts, attention to detail, and aesthetic judgment.
• Audio editing or basic voice-over capability;
• YouTube Channel Management Experience: Understanding of YouTube and Channel Management, Vertical format of videos and what drives excellent search views on YouTube
• Bonus: working knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
