Operations Manager (Marketing Agency) Full Time

What you’ll do

• Campaign monitoring: Keep a close eye on live Reddit campaigns across multiple clients, catching timing issues, wrong subreddit placements, or off-spec posts before they escalate. You are the first line of defence, not the last.
• Freelancer coordination: Manage a distributed team of contractors executing campaigns day-to-day. Clear briefs, tight feedback loops, and holding people accountable when the quality bar isn’t met, across time zones and without losing your head.
• Operations and admin: Handle contractor onboarding and payments through Upwork, keep internal systems accurate and up to date, and make sure nothing slips through the cracks in an operation that moves fast and rarely slows down.

Who we’re looking for

Someone with 3+ years of experience who has the following skills and traits:

• Operationally sharp: You check things multiple times a day, not once. You spot problems early, fix them fast, and build habits that stop them from happening again.
• Experienced managing remote teams: You have coordinated freelancers or contractors across time zones before and know what it takes to keep distributed execution tight. Clear communication, no ambiguity, fast follow-ups.
• Genuinely knows Reddit: Not a casual scroller. You understand how Reddit actually works, subreddit culture, community norms, what gets flagged, what gets upvoted. The interview will go deep here, so come prepared.
• A strong communicator: Written communication is a big part of this role. You are clear, direct, and don’t leave people guessing about what’s expected of them.
• Available during US hours: At least 4–5 hours of overlap with Pacific Time is a hard requirement, as real-time coordination is part of the job.

Bonus points if you have

• Hands-on experience with Reddit marketing or community management, not just platform familiarity.
• Prior experience using Upwork to manage contractor relationships and payments.
• A background in social media marketing or digital campaign execution at an agency.
