Location: Remote within India.
We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Expert to design, implement, manage, and optimize enterprise-grade cloud solutions on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with OCI services, cloud architecture, automation, security, networking, and infrastructure operations in large-scale enterprise environments.
The candidate should be capable of working independently, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving cloud modernization initiatives while ensuring scalability, security, reliability, and cost optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available OCI cloud architectures
- Deploy and manage OCI services including Compute, Networking, Storage, IAM, Load Balancers, and Database services
- Configure and maintain Virtual Cloud Networks (VCN), subnets, route tables, security lists, DRGs, and VPN/FastConnect connectivity
- Manage OCI Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies, compartments, and governance models
- Implement infrastructure automation using Terraform, Ansible, Shell scripting, or similar tools
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments
- Monitor cloud environments, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and optimize system performance
- Implement backup, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions
- Ensure cloud security best practices, compliance, and vulnerability remediation
- Work closely with development, DevOps, security, and database teams
- Perform cloud cost optimization and resource utilization analysis
- Support migration of on-premises workloads to OCI
- Create and maintain architecture diagrams, operational procedures, and technical documentation
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
- Experience with OCI Compute, Block Storage, Object Storage, Load Balancers, and Networking services
- Strong understanding of cloud networking concepts including DNS, VPN, routing, firewalls, and hybrid connectivity
- Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Knowledge of Linux system administration
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools
- Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills
- Experience with security implementation and cloud governance
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Oracle databases on OCI
- Knowledge of multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with Kubernetes services such as OKE
- Familiarity with DevOps and SRE practices
- Experience with enterprise migrations and modernization projects
- Understanding of disaster recovery and business continuity planning
- Exposure to telecom, finance, healthcare, or large enterprise environments
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of cloud infrastructure experience
- 3+ years of hands-on OCI experience preferred
- Oracle Cloud certifications are highly preferred
Preferred Certifications
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Associate
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Professional
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Operations Associate
- Kubernetes or Terraform certifications are a plus
