Job Title: Passive Network TechnicianJob Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Passive Network Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot passive network infrastructure, including structured cabling systems, fiber optics, and network racks. The ideal candidate should be hands-on, disciplined, and capable of working in data center and enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and terminate structured cabling systems (Cat6/Cat6A, fiber optic cables).
• Perform fiber splicing, testing, and troubleshooting using OTDR and power meters.
• Manage and maintain patch panels, racks, cable trays, and labeling standards.
• Ensure proper cable routing, dressing, and documentation as per industry best practices.
• Conduct testing and certification of network cables.
• Support data center build-outs, expansions, and migrations.
• Coordinate with active network teams (NOC/SOC) for seamless connectivity.
• Follow all safety and quality standards during installations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma/ITI or equivalent in Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in passive networking / structured cabling.
• Strong understanding of fiber optics and copper cabling standards.
• Experience with tools like fusion splicer, OTDR, cable testers.
• Knowledge of TIA/EIA standards and data center best practices.
• Ability to read network diagrams and layouts.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in data centers or large enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with rack & stack operations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 – ₹25,000.00 per month
