Role Summary
Support core People Operations (recruitment, onboarding, HR coordination) while also owning day-to-day business operations tasks (process support, reporting, vendor/admin coordination, documentation), social media management, networking and outreach activities, communication support, administrative responsibilities, and other business requirements as needed. You’ll work closely with the Founder and Functional Heads to keep hiring, people processes, and internal operations moving smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Hiring Support
• Manage end-to-end recruitment for assigned roles (sourcing to offer coordination)
• Work with hiring managers to understand requirements, timelines, and scorecards
• Source candidates via LinkedIn, job portals, referrals, and internal databases
• Screen resumes, conduct initial HR calls, and coordinate interview scheduling
• Maintain candidate pipelines, trackers, feedback, and hiring reports
• Ensure a smooth candidate experience and clear communication throughout
Onboarding & Employee Lifecycle
• Coordinate onboarding documentation, joining formalities, and first-week setup
• Support background verification and reference checks (if applicable)
• Maintain employee records and standard HR documents (letters, policies, forms)
• Assist with exit coordination (documentation, asset checklist, handover tracking)
HR Operations & Compliance Support
• Support attendance/leave tracking and basic HR MIS reporting
• Help coordinate payroll inputs with finance/vendor (where applicable)
• Assist with policy communication and internal HR process adherence
• Support basic compliance documentation and audit readiness (as needed)
Business Operations, Communication & Admin Support
• Own recurring ops tasks: trackers, follow-ups, coordination, documentation
• Support vendor coordination (office services, tool subscriptions, etc.)
• Maintain SOPs, templates, and internal documentation for repeatable processes
• Assist with cross-functional projects (people, operations, finance ops) as assigned
• Prepare weekly/monthly reports and dashboards using Excel/Google Sheets (and BI tools if used)
• Manage and support social media activities, including content coordination, scheduling, and engagement tracking
• Conduct networking, outreach, and relationship-building activities with professionals, partners, and stakeholders
• Support business development initiatives through research, follow-ups, and communication
• Handle administrative tasks, calendar coordination, meeting scheduling, and internal communications
• Draft professional emails, presentations, reports, and business correspondence
• Assist leadership with strategic business activities and special projects as required
Required Skills & Qualifications
• 6+ months experience in recruitment / HR ops / people ops / operations coordination
• Hands-on exposure to end-to-end hiring (at least sourcing + coordination)
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams
• Strong working knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets (tracking, pivots/basic reporting)
• Comfortable handling confidential employee and business information
Nice to Have (Not Mandatory)
• Experience using ATS/HRMS/CRM tools (Zoho, Keka, Darwinbox, Freshteam, HubSpot, etc.)
• Exposure to dashboards (Excel / Power BI / Looker Studio)
• Experience in a fast-paced startup environment
• Basic understanding of HR analytics, reporting metrics, and process improvement
• Experience managing social media platforms and professional networking outreach
What Success Looks Like (First 60–90 Days)
• Hiring pipelines are updated daily and stakeholders get clean weekly hiring updates
• Onboarding runs without last-minute chaos (docs, access, checklists in place)
• Core HR trackers and employee documentation are organized and accurate
• Operations, communication, networking, and administrative tasks are completed proactively and on time with minimal follow-up
