Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Plastic Surgeon based in the Kutch district. The Plastic Surgeon will perform reconstructive and cosmetic surgeries, including preoperative assessment, surgical planning, and postoperative management. Responsibilities include conducting detailed patient consultations, explaining treatment options and risks, and documenting care in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards. The role involves performing a range of procedures such as trauma reconstruction, burn and scar revision, and elective cosmetic surgeries, as well as coordinating with anesthesiology, nursing, and other specialties. The Plastic Surgeon will participate in clinical meetings, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, supervise and mentor junior clinical staff when required, and ensure a high standard of safety, ethics, and patient confidentiality.
Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Plastic Surgery and Surgery, with the ability to manage a broad spectrum of reconstructive and cosmetic cases.
• Proficiency in Cosmetic Surgery, including facial, body contouring, and aesthetic procedures tailored to patient needs and safety.
• Skills in Microsurgery and complex reconstructive techniques for trauma, oncologic, and congenital conditions.
• Solid foundation in Medicine, including preoperative assessment, perioperative care, and management of comorbidities.
• Recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and postgraduate qualification in Plastic Surgery (MCh/DNB or equivalent), with valid medical registration and licensure.
• Proven experience working in an operating theater environment and collaborating with multidisciplinary clinical teams.
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and patient counseling skills, with a commitment to ethical and evidence-based practice.
• Willingness to work on-site in the Kutch district and participate in emergency call duties as required.
