About The Job
A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It’s your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.
As a Procurement Operations Manager in the Centralized Procurement Operations (CPO) within Cloud Supply Chain Organization (CSCO), you will be responsible for Request for Quotation (RFQ) management, procurement operations, materials fulfillment, driving business process and systems improvements and analytics projects. Your expertise in the areas of materials management, systems and procurement processes will be critical for the on-time delivery, cost productivity and project execution that are required to fulfill massive compute hardware and technology at our global data centers. Collaborate with NPI, supply planning, engineering, commodity management, contract manufacturing, logistics, and suppliers to drive business needs through process and system changes that enable materials procurement for Google’s growing infrastructure. Individual’s partnership with the Supply Planning, Commodity Management, Contract Manufacturing and NPI teams in the US will be critical in identifying the right operations model needed to support various procurement strategies.
