QC Assistant Cum supervisor Full Time

Responsible for ensuring product quality at all stages of production in printing and flexible packaging. The role combines hands-on quality inspection with supervisory responsibilities to maintain standards, reduce defects, and ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities Quality Control (QC)

• Inspect raw materials (films, inks, adhesives, laminates) before production
• Monitor printing quality (color matching, registration, alignment, GSM, etc.)
• Conduct in-process and final inspections of finished goods
• Ensure compliance with quality standards (ISO, GMP, food-grade packaging norms)
• Maintain QC records, reports, and documentation

Production Supervision

• Supervise shop-floor operations in printing, lamination, slitting, and pouching
• Ensure operators follow SOPs and quality guidelines
• Coordinate with production, maintenance, and dispatch teams
• Monitor productivity, minimize wastage, and control rejection rates

Issue Handling & Improvement

• Identify defects (misprint, ink smudge, delamination, sealing issues, etc.)
• Take corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
• Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues
• Suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain inspection reports, batch records, and test results
• Ensure traceability of materials and finished goods
• Support audits (internal & external)
• Follow safety and hygiene standards (especially for food packaging)

Skills & Requirements

• Knowledge of printing processes (gravure, flexo) and flexible packaging materials
• Understanding of color matching, substrates, and lamination processes
• Familiarity with QC tools and testing instruments
• Basic computer skills (Excel, reports, documentation)
• Good leadership and communication skills

Qualifications

• Diploma / Bachelor’s degree (Printing Technology, Packaging, or related field)
• 2–5 years of experience in printing or flexible packaging industry

Visayakpur, Raniya (Kanpur Dehat)

Pay: ₹24,000.00 – ₹26,000.00 per month
