React Native Developer (AI-Native) Full Time NEW

🚀 Hiring: React Native Developer (AI-Native) at InstaSupply

We’re building the Instacart for construction materials — an AI-first marketplace connecting contractors and suppliers across the Greater Toronto Area for same-day job-site delivery. I spent 7+ years in construction before starting this, so we’re solving a problem I’ve actually lived.

We’re looking for a developer who builds with AI, not around it — someone who ships fast, uses modern AI tools to move faster, and knows Supabase cold.

🛠 What you’ll build

Real features across our customer, supplier, and driver apps:

• Auth flows (email + phone OTP)
• Real-time order and delivery screens on Supabase Postgres
• Map-based route optimization for live deliveries
• Push notifications across foreground, background, and killed states
• Supabase Edge Functions tying the system together

🤖 The AI-native part (this matters to us)

You should already be using AI as part of how you work — and ideally building AI into products, not just using it to write code:

• Fluent with modern AI dev tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or similar)
• Comfortable wiring LLM APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI) into real app features
• Understands prompt design, structured outputs, and when AI is the wrong tool
• Bonus: experience with AI-powered data pipelines, RAG, or agentic workflows

React Native · Supabase (Auth, DB, Edge Functions, Realtime) · React Navigation · Expo/FCM · LLM APIs

✅ You’re a fit if you have

• Strong React Native experience with production apps you’ve actually shipped
• Real, hands-on Supabase depth (not just “I’ve used it once”)
• A bias for speed and ownership in an early-stage environment
• A Mac and the ability to work independently
• Bonus: marketplace, logistics, or delivery-app experience
