About This Role
We are looking for someone who genuinely understands hydraulics — not just the spec sheets, but the real-world challenges that OEM engineers and procurement teams deal with every day. This role is at the heart of our growth in Western India, and the person who fills it will have a direct impact on how THM Huade is known and trusted in the mobile and construction equipment space.
You will own a region, build a customer base, and represent products you can stand behind. This isn’t a supporting role — it’s a front-line, revenue-generating position with technical depth and commercial accountability.
What You’ll Do
• Identify, approach, and develop OEM accounts in the mobile, construction, and agricultural equipment segments across the Ahmedabad region
• Understand customer machine architectures and hydraulic circuit requirements well enough to recommend the right solution — pump, motor, valve, or system
• Prepare technically sound quotations and application proposals; follow through from first contact to order closure
• Work closely with engineering and product teams at THM to communicate customer requirements and provide field feedback
• Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers — design engineers, procurement heads, and plant managers
• Track market activity, competitor positioning, and emerging application trends in your territory
• Hit quarterly targets, but more importantly, build the kind of pipeline that makes targets sustainable
What You Bring
• 3 to 5 years of experience in sales or application engineering, specifically in hydraulics or related fluid power products
• Hands-on familiarity with axial piston pumps, gear pumps, motors, or directional control valves — you know these products in real applications, not just on paper
• An existing network or understanding of OEM customers in mobile, construction, or material handling equipment
• Ability to read hydraulic schematics and discuss circuit-level requirements with customer engineers
• A self-starting approach — you’re comfortable working independently, managing your own schedule, and driving your own pipeline
• Strong communication in Gujarati, Hindi, and English (spoken and written)
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline; knowledge of basic electro-hydraulics is a plus
