SAN Admin/Consultant Specialist Full Time

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

In This Role, You Will

• In depth experience on Enterprise Storage Management and Open to work in a 24×7 support (rotational weekend & night shifts)
• Recommend and oversee projects that expand, change, or improve the systems and related infrastructure.
• Act as the highest level of technical escalation for production issues encountered and provide assistance in reviewing performance and provide solution/resolution.
• Work with other infrastructure teams for new systems designed and engineered.
• Leverage experience to provide input to improvements (People, Process, Tools, and Technology) in the environment, and recommend innovative and automated approaches for system administration tasks.
• Should have in-depth knowledge of tools such as Unisphere, DCNM, SANNAV / Pure1(Optional).
• Configuration and troubleshooting of SAN SRDF, Clone, Zoning, Fiber Channel concepts etc…

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in SAN(Block)
• In-depth knowledge of Block Storage DELL EMC (VMAX, PMAX, XTREMIO) / Switches: Cisco and Brocade.
• Usage of tools such as Unisphere, DCNM, SANNAV
• Secondary skills: Storage -Pure / HPE & Use automation and scripting to increase productivity
• Additional advantage of knowledge on OS (Linux / Windows / ESX)
• Ensure vendors and services providers are providing optimal value to HSBC.
• Ensures team follows IT processes including Change & Release management.
• Oversees SAN performance and capacity by monitoring, alerting and reporting.
