Senior Analyst – Corporate Accounting – GB Full Time

Position Overview

As an accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining the financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. You will work closely with the onshore accounting team to manage financial functions, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and monthly reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information from three QuickBooks accounts.
• Attach invoices and apply classes to transactions accurately.
• Manage and process accounts receivable and payable.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations of all accounts to ensure their accuracy.
• Generate financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information.
• Consolidate data from multiple sources for more streamlined financial reporting.
• Maintain historical records by filing documents electronically.
• Prepare payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.
• Assist with budget preparation and audits.
• Ad hoc requests to financials
• Support management by providing accurate financial information in a timely manner.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks and projects for management as needed
• Communicate with onshore accounting team and clearly articulate status of tasks

Qualifications

• Proven bookkeeping experience of at least 5 years in Mortgage Domain with a firm grasp of US accounting and financial practices.
• Extensive experience managing multiple QuickBooks accounts.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, etc.).
• Familiarity with financial accounting statements and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Degree in accounting, finance, or related field; Professional Designation CA or ICWA Preferred
• Experience working in companies with revenues exceeding $1M strongly preferred.
