About the Team:

The AI Solutions Org is a new, high-velocity engineering unit at Flipkart with a singular mission: to

accelerate AI adoption across the entire company. Will operate as a “SWAT team” for AI – building

end-to-end solutions for business functions that lack engineering bandwidth, while also partnering with the core Data Science team to optimize and scale state-of-the-art models (FK LLMs, Open Source, Commercial).

About the role:

The “AI-Native” DNA This is not a traditional software engineering role. We believe the future of coding is AI-assisted. You are expected to be an AI-Native Engineer:

● You don’t just write code; you orchestrate it. You leverage tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor,

and LLMs to write code, generate test cases, debug, and perform RCAs at 10x speed.

● You are Full-Stack + AI. You are comfortable setting up a backend API, building a quick UI, and

engineering a complex RAG pipeline in the same sprint.

Core Responsibilities (All Levels)

● Applied GenAI Development: Build production-grade applications using LLMs (GPT-4, Gemini,

Llama 3, FK-LLMs). Implement RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation), Agentic workflows, and

tool-use patterns.

● End-to-End Engineering: Act as the primary engineering owner for non-tech stakeholders (e.g.,

automating Invoice processing for Finance). You will handle the full SDLC: Database design, API

development, UI integration, and Deployment.

● Model Optimization: Collaborate with Data Scientists to make AI feasible at scale. Work on

model distillation, quantization, fine-tuning, and inference optimization (e.g., vLLM, TGI).

● AI-First SDLC: actively use AI tools to automate code reviews, documentation, unit testing, and

integration testing.

You should have:

● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

● 13+ years exp. Industry leader in Applied AI, Distributed Systems & NLP.

● Demonstrated success in transforming business processes via technology.

● Experience deploying LLMs at scale.

● Strong communication and analytical skills
