We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant / Bookkeeper to support a Canadian CPA firm. This role is ideal for someone who can independently manage multiple clients and deliver high-quality bookkeeping work.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end bookkeeping for multiple small to medium-sized clients
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- Review accounts payable and receivable
- Post and review transactions using Dext / Hubdoc
- Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks Online / Odoo
- Prepare monthly financial statements and working papers
- Ensure data accuracy and identify discrepancies
- Communicate with internal team and with clients
- Occasional participation in late evening/night meetings (based on client and team requirements)
Requirements
- Minimum 3–6 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience
- Hands-on experience with: QuickBooks Online, Dext, Odoo
- Ability to manage multiple clients independently
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills (mandatory)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Experience working with Canadian accounting firms (preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting / Finance
- CA / ACCA / CMA / CPA
Compensation
- ₹60K per month (slight flexibility for the right candidate)
