Purpose of the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic manager to lead the growth and expansion of our omni-channel operations, with a focus on scaling dark stores and hybrid business models. This role will play a critical part in driving key strategic initiatives and leveraging technology to enhance operational performance and efficiency. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders, including Amazon, to ensure strategic objectives are met and operational excellence is achieved.
Principal Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to drive the growth of the omni-channel business, including scaling dark stores and hybrid models
- Collaborate with operations, supply chain, tech and finance teams to ensure scalable and sustainable solutions and execution of business goals that enhance profitability
- Serve as the main point of contact with Amazon (key stakeholder), driving operational excellence in alignment with business requirements
- Lead critical strategic initiatives by effectively communicating with stakeholders, providing data-driven insights for informed decision-making
- Leverage technology and data to drive continuous process improvement and operational efficiencies
Education and Knowledge
- Engineer preferred with 4-5 years of operations experience in Retail/Ecommerce/QuickCommerce
- Working knowledge of data analysis techniques and P&L analysis
- Analytical mindset with a strong focus on data-driven decision-making
- Expertise in SQL and Python is a must, and data analysis techniques would be an added advantage
