Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Mumbai for a Senior Procurement Executive. The role involves overseeing and managing the procurement of quality raw materials and goods directly from farmers and producers. Responsibilities include maintaining relationships with suppliers, negotiating favorable terms, monitoring market trends, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. The role also requires proper documentation, inventory management, and contributing to process improvements within the procurement workflow to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in procurement, supply chain management, or sourcing
• Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and vendor management skills
• Ability to analyze market trends and make informed procurement decisions
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and basic financial analysis
• Understanding of food safety regulations and quality standards
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Experience in the food industry, particularly in sourcing agricultural or natural products, is a plus
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
