Role Overview

We are looking for a driven, detail-oriented ServiceNow Engineer Intern to join our team on-site in Salem. This is a comprehensive, full-time training and performance internship. You will work closely with our core engineering team to design, configure, and maintain ServiceNow modules, forms, and workflows that drive enterprise automation. If you love solving operational problems with code, managing digital workflows, and deep-diving into cloud platform architectures, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Platform Customization: Assist in configuring and customizing ServiceNow forms, UI policies, business rules, client scripts, and automation sequences.
• Workflow Automation: Collaborate with senior engineers to design and implement digital workflows using ServiceNow Flow Designer to support IT service management (ITSM) and core business operations.
• Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnose, monitor, and resolve daily platform performance bugs, configurations, or data integration pipeline updates.
• Requirement Gathering: Coordinate with cross-functional technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate internal business needs into clean ServiceNow solutions.
• Documentation: Keep detailed and organized technical documentation, system architectures, and upgrade logs up-to-date.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical tech experience).
• Technical Foundation: Good foundational understanding of object-oriented programming and web technologies, with hands-on practice in JavaScript.
• Process Awareness: Basic familiarity with ITIL concepts and framework practices (Incident, Change, and Request Management) is highly preferred.
• Problem-Solving: Sharp analytical and debugging skills to trace data bottlenecks and find quick technical solutions.
• Availability: Must be ready to commit to a structured 6 days a week on-site workflow in Salem.
• Bonus: Prior exposure to ServiceNow admin development environments or ServiceNow/ITIL certifications is a massive advantage.
