SOC Analyst – SIEM Full Time NEW

Role Description

As a Global Security Operation Center (SOC) team member, you will be working in 24 x 7 Shift, and closely working with the Global IT Security team and IT / IT Security Team of Companies Subsidiaries.

Responsibilities

• Member of the 2nd level security monitoring team with focus on monitoring companies international subsidiaries
• Responsible for processing of security incidents that have already been pre-qualified in level 1 SOC analysis on the basis of playbooks that are created and maintained in SIEM engineering
• Handling the security incident escalated by the level 1 SOC team after initial analysis
• Transferring the incident to the appropriate party (e.g. CSIRT – Cyber Security Incident Respond Team) and support them in the further analysis and processing, If the incident cannot be resolved at your level
• Documenting the incident
• Identifying and documenting the area of improvement and implement the lessons learned
• Contributing to regular feedback workshops with SIEM Engineering team, Level-1 and CSIRT to optimize the procedures (such as run books), use cases, and the tools used
• Supporting the SIEM Use Case creation, testing, maintenance and optimization
• Creating / updating the play books, procedures, and reports
• Providing the on-call duty support

Skills Required

• Strong knowledge about (latest) security threats
• Knowledge of leading SIEM solutions
• Good understanding of various Cyber Security concepts and technologies
• Knowledge of Internet technologies, Server, desktop and mobile OS
• Experience in network infrastructure
• Ability to explain complex technical matters in easy wording
