Software Quality Analyst – Desktop Applications Full Time NEW

THIS IS A LONG TERM CONTRACT POSITION WITH ONE OF THE LARGEST, GLOBAL, TECHNOLOGY LEADER.

The Automotive and Conceptual Design team is looking for an experienced Quality Analyst to join our passionate and collaborative QA organization. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our industry-leading products, including Alias, VRED, and our latest AI-powered solutions for automotive design studios.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in a Quality Assurance role within a desktop software development environment.
• Experience testing desktop applications on Windows and Linux platforms.
• Demonstrated experience in quality assurance for geometric modeling and/or 3D visualization applications.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test design, functional testing, regression testing, and performance/load testing.
• Experience creating and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Knowledge of automated testing tools for desktop applications.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Perl.
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, Behave, Robot Framework, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Understanding of AI/ML concepts and technologies.
• Experience with VRED, CAD, industrial design, or 3D visualization software.
• Knowledge of automotive design and visualization workflows.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Management, Experience Design, and Engineering teams to ensure the highest quality standards across products and services.
• Develop, execute, maintain, and improve test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Perform both manual and automated testing to validate product functionality and performance.
• Identify, document, track, and communicate software defects while partnering with development teams on resolutions.
• Conduct functional, regression, performance, and load testing activities.
• Continuously enhance QA processes, testing tools, and best practices to support evolving product complexity and quality goals.
• Ensure products meet business requirements and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
