- Develop and execute zonal sourcing strategies aligned with merchandising plans
- Manage vendor base for men’s, women’s, and kids’ apparel
- Negotiate costs, MOQs, lead times, and payment terms to meet margin targets
- Ensure on-time sampling, production, and deliveries as per seasonal timelines
- Monitor fabric sourcing, trims, and garment quality standards
- Collaborate with Merchandising to translate design & trend inputs into bulk orders
- Drive vendor development, onboarding new cost-efficient manufacturers
- Ensure compliance with ethical sourcing, statutory, and quality norms
- Control sourcing risks, supply disruptions, and cost escalations
- Track KPIs related to cost, fill rate, OTIF, and quality rejections
Education: – Graduation /PG in Textiles / Fashion Technology / Apparel Production / Garment Manufacturing
Experience : 10 to 12 Years
Key Skills and Attributes:
- Strong expertise in value-driven apparel sourcing, managing high-volume, low-margin programs. Proven vendor negotiation and relationship management capabilities across Indian manufacturing clusters.
- Solid understanding of fabric, garment construction, costing, and quality standards.
- Ability to ensure on-time production and delivery aligned with seasonal retail calendars.
- Effective cross-functional collaboration with merchandising, planning, and supply chain teams. Strong people leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with high ownership mindset.
