JOB OVERVIEW:
We are hiring a US accounting person. We need a candidate who has thorough working knowledge of US GAAP, General ledger and financial reporting, coupled with solid analytic and interpersonal skills.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
● Preparation of financial statements as per the US GAAP.
● Detailed review of financial statements prepared.
● Detailed review of audit schedules.
● Prepare daily /weekly delivery schedule for financials.
● Vendor Master Management.
● Assist in Troubleshooting – issues/ queries/ escalations/ team issues.
● Communicate with US counterparts / Clients through calls and emails as required.
● Ensure successful completion of projects assigned on a timely basis.
● Ensure quality satisfaction.
● Regular review of transition plan and track progress.
● Active involvement in guiding the team for new setup – Master setups, tracking of
data/information received, follow up for missing information.
● Active involvement in transition call – planning stage and onboarding stage.
● Ensure preparation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)/ Process maps.
● Ensure that the team is aligned and perform the following timely – Work allocation to team
members, update shift roster, review timesheets, leave management, provide timely feedback.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
● A Bachelor Degree in Commerce field from a recognized University. MBA finance is a plus.
● Hands-on experience with accounting software, QBO experience is plus.
● Proven work experience as an Accounts Receivable and Accounts payable manager.
● Excellent analytical skills along with the ability to create and present detailed reports.
PREFERRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
● Excellent communication
● A Bachelor Degree in Commerce field from a recognized University. MBA finance is a plus.
● 3-5 Years of experience in a similar field.
● Advanced knowledge of MS Office products, Excel (VLOOKUP, Index/Match, Pivot Tables), Word
and PowerPoint.
REPORTING: This position will report to the Sr. Accounts Manager & VP – Finance
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-Time
LOCATION: Remote (Pan India)
SHIFT TIMINGS:
● 6.00 pm to 3.00 am IST (8.30 am to 5.30 pm EST)
