Role Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Network Administrator to serve as the primary caretaker of our digital infrastructure. You will be responsible for the daily health, security, and performance of our environments. Your goal is to ensure 99.9% uptime and a seamless experience for all internal and external users.
Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Install, configure, and maintain network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Performance Monitoring: Utilize tools to identify and resolve connectivity bottlenecks before they impact productivity.
- Security & Compliance: Manage VPN access, update security patches, and monitor network traffic for suspicious activity.
- Troubleshooting: Act as the Tier 2/3 point of escalation for network-related tickets, from hardware failure to complex routing issues.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate maps of network topology and detailed logs of system changes.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in network administration or a similar role.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Core Protocols: Strong command of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, and OSPF.
Cloud Knowledge: Familiarity with integrating on-premise networks with .
