Qualifications

• First Class Bachelor’s Degree, including the integrated PG degree in Engineering (ME, EE, CS, IT, ECE, BioTech, etc.) with 3 years of Experience in startup/Research/Academic /industry.

OR Second Class Post Graduate Degree (MSc, in Phy, Chem, Lifesciences etc), including the integrated PG degree (Science/Public Health/Life Sciences) with 2 years of Experience (in Startup/Research/Academic /industry).

OR

• M.Tech in (Medical Devices, CS/IT, Mechanical/ Material science/Chemical /BioTech Etc.) with 1 years of Experience (Research/Academic/industry).

OR

• M.Pharma or PharmD with Experience in ISO, regulatory affairs for a minimum 1 year in Startup/Research/Academi c/industry.

• Desirable
• Candidate with experience CAD, 3D Printing, prototyping, circuits integration and programming, website management, and photo/video editing etc.
• Scientific Writing Skill
• Hands-on experience in cell culture related wet lab techniques and analysis
• Open to learn new skillsets for research and innovation
• Role & responsibilities
• Assist in the mechanical design and prototyping of the products. Data handling and establishing communication with the incubates on work progress and engagement in their day-to-day activities.
• Operations and maintenance 0f high end instruments such as SEM, FTIR, Rheometer etc. for research-oriented projects. (necessary training will be provided).
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain BioNEST facilities and laboratory protocols, safety procedures, and regulatory documentation.
• Support progress reporting, documentation, and scientific dissemination through annual progress reports papers and conferences.
• Assist in grant progress reports, technical summaries, and documentation for regulatory approvals.
• Ensure adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and ethical guidelines in biomedical research.

Key skill requirement

• Competence in data handling and analysis.
• Familiarity with instrumentation and testing methodologies.
• Understanding regulatory, ISO, and ethical compliance.
• Technical writing skills for documentation, progress reports, and scientific publications.
• Lab management skills. Protopying and experimental protocols, and compliance with standard operating procedures.
• Strong communication skills for presenting research findings and engaging in scientific discourse.

The selected staff shall be engaged on a full-time basis solely for the specified project and shall not be assigned to any other project or institutional duties.

• During the tenure of the project, the staff shall not receive any additional remuneration, salary, or financial benefits from any other project or source.
• Recruitment of staff will be carried out in accordance with the rules and procedures of the host institute.
