JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced Academic Counsellor to guide students and working professionals in choosing the right offline upskilling programs. The role involves understanding learners’ academic backgrounds and career goals, counselling them on suitable courses, and supporting them throughout the enrolment process.

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct outbound calls to prospective students and working professionals on a daily basis, with a high-volume calling target to drive engagement and conversions.

• Understand each student’s educational background, career goals, and course expectations through structured conversations.

• Qualify leads by assessing their intent, readiness, and suitability for our Data Science, Data Analytics, Digital Marketing, or Full Stack Development programs.

• Counsel shortlisted leads on the right program based on their profile and guide them towards making an enrolment decision.

• Handle common objections around fees, course duration, and career outcomes in a clear and confident manner.

• Follow up regularly with interested leads through calls and WhatsApp until a decision is made.

• Own the end-to-end conversion process — from first contact to form submission and fee payment.

• Update lead status and call notes in the CRM after every interaction without fail.

• Meet weekly and monthly enrolment targets as set by the reporting manager.

• Coordinate with the academic and operations team to ensure smooth on-boarding of newly enrolled students.

ELIGIBILITY & REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be a graduate (any stream).

• Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Tele Academic Counsellor in the education sector.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Good working knowledge of MS Excel.

• Experience in counselling for technical or professional courses is preferred.

• Basic CRM knowledge is an advantage.

• Willingness to work from the Chandigarh centre.

• Proficiency in English and Hindi; working knowledge of Punjabi is an added advantage.
