Job Summary:

To join our team in Ahmedabad, we are now looking for an experienced US Senior Accounting Executive with more than 5 years of experience. You will be an integral component of our accounting department’s support team and be responsible for ensuring the correctness and effectiveness of financial operations as a US Senior Accounting Executive.

Responsibilities:

• Utilise various accounting software to manage and maintain accurate financial records.
• Meet tight deadlines while handling multiple accounting tasks for management.
• Perform essential reporting duties, including balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare and upload journal entries accurately and efficiently.
• Reconcile bank statements, researching and recording any outstanding cash items.
• Leverage strong Excels skills for data analysis and report preparation.
• Prepare comprehensive management reports, such as budgets, fixed assets, and more.
• Reconcile inter company balances to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare month-end closing reconciliation files to support timely financial reporting.
• Handle monthly billing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Analyse open items, collaborating with relevant departments to resolve issues.
• Experience in a shared service organisation is an asset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to interactant communicate effectively with team members and other departments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in accounting, demonstrating strong practical skills.
• Proficiency in using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Yardi, Xero, or similar platforms.
• Experience in working within offshore accounting environments is an advantage.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, with proven ability to manage and reconcile complex financial transactions.
