Role Description The Vendor Onboarding Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India, responsible for managing the end-to-end onboarding of new vendors and partners. This role involves identifying and assessing potential vendors, coordinating due diligence, and ensuring all contractual, compliance, and operational requirements are met before launch. The Vendor Onboarding Manager will work closely with procurement, legal, operations, and product teams to establish service levels, negotiate terms, and streamline onboarding workflows. Daily responsibilities include tracking onboarding progress, resolving bottlenecks, maintaining accurate documentation, and updating internal stakeholders on timelines and risks. The role also includes continuously improving onboarding processes, analyzing vendor performance data, and supporting long-term vendor relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and scalability of services.
Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data, assess vendor performance, and make evidence-based recommendations.
• Proficiency in contract negotiation and contract management, with experience reviewing terms, managing renewals, and mitigating risks.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external vendors, and to clearly document requirements and processes.
• Experience in procurement or vendor management, including vendor selection, onboarding coordination, and relationship management.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for handling documentation, compliance checks, and process tracking.
• Experience working with workflow tools, CRM or vendor management systems is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Prior experience in a tech, travel, fintech, or operations-focused environment is a plus.
