Warehouse Operative – Ahmedabad Full Time NEW

The primary role of the Warehouse Operative is managing the ordering activity for the organization, including timely and accurate entry and processing of all orders received. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Retrieve stock from store based on the provided PO
• Manages inventory tracking system to record deliveries, shipments and stock levels
• Responsible for Order Processing and Invoicing on time
• Investigate stock and inventory discrepancies and report information to management by performing random checks and audits
• Support warehouse projects and system enhancement opportunities
• Receive, priorities, process and identify incoming orders according to the sales policy and customer requirements
• Prepare and pack stocks into boxes as per the number of lenses ordered
• Affix required stickers on IOLs and ensure the lenses are packed securely in the packing box
• Label parcels with shipping information and process them for courier dispatch
• Verify the set of documents (Delivery Challan, Invoice) for accuracy and completeness
• Ensure parcels match the PO and documents for shipping
• Organize space and arrange for the received shipment
• Unbox and organize IOLs in the warehouse, ensuring they are shelved according to the system
• Process Goods Receipt Note (GRN) by verifying IOLs and putaway them to the appropriate storage after verification
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the manager

What Experience & Skills You Will Need:

Essential:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, supply chain management or similar
• Basic knowledge of inventory control procedures
• Physical fitness and ability to lift and move heavy items
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and inventory software

Desirable:

• Understanding of stocktaking and reconciliation processes
• Familiarity with inventory or warehouse management systems
• Knowledge of stock control and order picking procedures
• Awareness of lean or efficient warehousing practices
