We are looking for a reliable AGM-Purchase to lead and manage the procurement function by ensuring timely availability of quality raw materials, components, and services at optimal cost, supporting uninterrupted production and overall business objectives.
Job Title: AGM-Purchase Reports To: GM-Operations
Job Summary: The role focuses on strategic sourcing, vendor development, cost optimization, and maintaining uninterrupted supply to support production targets.
Job Responsibilities:
⦁ Plan and execute procurement as per production requirements
⦁ Develop and manage vendors.
⦁ Handle RFQs, negotiations, and purchase orders
⦁ Ensure on-time material delivery and optimal inventory levels
⦁ Drive cost reduction and effective price negotiations
⦁ Co-ordinate with cross functional team
⦁ Monitor vendor performance and ensure quality compliance
SkillsRequired:
⦁ Good Knowledge of SAP/Excel
⦁ Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills
⦁ Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Requirements:
⦁ B.Tech/BE (Mechanical/Production); MBA preferred
⦁ 10–15 years in procurement (heavy engineering/manufacturing)
⦁ 3-5 years in leadership role
