Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors
• Ensure timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stores/operations teams
• Prepare purchase orders and ensure proper documentation
• Track market trends, pricing, and supplier performance
• Maintain strong relationships with existing vendors and identify new suppliers
• Ensure compliance with company policies, budgets, and statutory regulations
• Coordinate with finance for billing, payments, and cost control
• Handle vendor audits, contract renewals, and rate negotiations
• Resolve supply-related issues and escalations efficiently

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain management
• Analytical and cost-management abilities
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP, or procurement software

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or related field
• MBA / PGDM in Supply Chain or Operations (preferred)
