Job Title: Trainee Procurement Engineer

About the Role
This is an entry-level developmental role designed for engineering graduates to learn industrial supply chain operations. The candidate will receive direct training in technical procurement, inventory tracking, and logistics for manufacturing and EPC projects.
Key Responsibilities
Vendor Support: Assist senior team members in sourcing mechanical, structural, and electrical components. Shadow commercial negotiations and handle routine vendor communications.
Stock Tracking: Maintain daily inventory logs for factory and project sites. Conduct physical stock counts and flag low inventory to management.
Logistics Assistance: Help coordinate domestic transport schedules. Track freight movement and assist site managers with incoming delivery timelines.
Material Processing: Execute physical receipt and dispatch of materials under supervision. Verify basic QA/QC standards and process standard documentation (POs, Delivery Challans, GRNs).
Qualifications
Education: B.Tech or B.E. in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering.
Experience: 0 to 1 year. Freshers seeking hands-on industry training are ideal.
Skills: High organizational capability. Basic ability to read engineering drawings and Bills of Materials (BOM). Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Strong willingness to learn commercial negotiation and supply chain logistics.
