Role Description

You’ll work full-time from home, focused on building and optimizing user interfaces using Next.js. This is a real working role — you’ll write production code, collaborate daily, and grow quickly in a supportive environment that values learning as much as output.

What You’ll Work On

• Help set up the Next.js project from scratch — folder structure, routing, component patterns, and tooling choices.
• Build out core UI pages and reusable components as the product takes shape.
• Integrate APIs and handle data fetching using Next.js conventions (server components, API routes).
• Make design and UX decisions alongside me — your taste and input genuinely matter. Iterate fast, break things, fix them, and ship.

Required Qualification

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals — you know what happens under the hood, not just what frameworks do for you.
• Hands-on experience with React (hooks, component lifecycle, state management) via coursework, personal projects, or prior internships.
• Familiarity with Next.js — routing, data fetching patterns (SSR, SSG, ISR), and the App Router model. Working knowledge of TypeScript and its type system.
• Comfort with Git-based workflows: branching, pull requests, resolving merge conflicts. Strong communication skills — you ask good questions and give clear status updates.
