Senior Marketing & Client Services Manager

THE ROLE
You own the client experience end-to-end. You unblock teams. You communicate what matters. You see opportunities to optimize before anyone else does. And you do it all in a high-pace, high-expectation environment where working smarter isn’t optional — it’s the survival skill.
This is not a typical account manager role. You’re part operations lead, part strategist, part team advocate. You touch everything from daily standups to client strategy reviews to internal marketing operations. You’re equally comfortable breaking down blockers in JIRA, presenting wins on client calls, or identifying an AI native solution that could save the team 10 hours a week.

YOUR DAY (THE REAL ONE)
Morning: Your Digital & AI Team
You log in and host standup with your digital AI team of experts — your technical team, your digital marketing specialists. You open the JIRA board you’ve optimized. You unblock them. You’ve learned that your superpower isn’t working harder; it’s removing obstacles so they can. You help them identify realistic timelines, address bottlenecks, and allocate work strategically. You love project management. You love supporting people to deliver.
Mid-day: Your Clients
You shift to client calls. You pull up the strategy document your CMO created. You review what your clients are trying to achieve. You keep the outcomes, the experience, and the value you’re providing front and center — always. You know that communication is your leverage. You update them. You gather feedback. You take that feedback back to the team and create or update JIRA cards. You ensure every client you own feels supported and sees the value the team delivers.
Afternoon: The Optimization Layer
You notice something that could be better. You recognize an AI native solution or a process improvement that could streamline delivery. You work with your technical team and GM to spec it out. You either implement it or get it into the backlog for the AI team to deploy across the business. This is how you scale impact beyond your own hours.
Late Afternoon: Marketing Operations
You put on your MVP1 Marketing Manager hat. You work cross-functionally with your graphic designer, SEO specialist, marketing coordinator, your AI agents team, your CRM specialist. You identify the big rocks and the series of MVPs that need to ship to keep the lead pipeline alive. You’re connecting dots between teams.
End of Day: The Leadership Layer
You triage Slack. You do a bit of coaching with a team member who’s struggling. You escalate blockers to your GM clearly — not as complaints, but as problems with solutions. You flag anything that could interrupt a client promise or impact the brand immediately. You love this job because you love working with people. You understand that the key to making it work is staying in communication and raising issues before they become fires.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Required Experience:
• 5+ years in marketing leadership, managing client relationships, accounts and client services
• 3+ years using JIRA and Agile methodology
• 3+ years leading or supporting cross-functional teams
• 3+ years taking strategies and developing or executing marketing campaigns & client outcomes
• Experience with AI automation tools, platforms, or AI-native products
• Comfortable working in a fully remote, async-first environment
Core Skills:
• Strong analytical mindset — you assess client needs, market trends, and campaign performance
• Exceptional communication: written, verbal, and the ability to present to executives
• Proven ability to identify process inefficiencies and implement solutions
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders simultaneously
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field preferred
