Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for an Accountant (Australian & USA Skilled) at Tommy Sugo. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, reconciling accounts, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with Australian and U.S. accounting standards. Additional responsibilities include payroll management, accounts payable and receivable, budget planning, tax preparation, and financial forecasting. The Accountant will work closely with other team members to maintain accurate financial records and support strategic decision-making processes.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in accounting software, financial reporting, and account reconciliation
• Knowledge of Australian and U.S. accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements
• Skills in payroll management, budgeting, and financial forecasting
• Attention to detail, strong analytical abilities, and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking capabilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Certifications such as CPA or CA are a plus
• Experience working in the food or hospitality industry is an advantage
