Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Diploma Engineer (Mechanical) role located in Rajpura. The Diploma Engineer (Mechanical) will support day-to-day mechanical engineering activities across real estate and infrastructure projects, including installation, operation, and maintenance of mechanical systems such as HVAC, pumps, piping, and utility equipment. Responsibilities include assisting in reviewing mechanical drawings, coordinating with contractors and vendors, monitoring execution at site, and ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The role involves working with project teams to track progress, address technical issues, and support testing and commissioning of mechanical systems. The engineer will also help in preparing basic reports, documentation, and material checks, and in suggesting improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency of mechanical installations.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in core Mechanical Engineering principles, including mechanical systems, thermodynamics, and applied mechanics.
• Ability to support Machine Design tasks and interpret mechanical components and assemblies for building services and utilities.
• Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools to read and update mechanical layouts, equipment drawings, and as-built documentation.
• Basic Project Management skills to assist in planning, scheduling, progress tracking, and coordination with site and office teams.
• Interest in and exposure to Research and Development (R&D) or continuous improvement initiatives related to mechanical systems and processes.
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution is required; additional certifications in CAD or project management are an advantage.
• Ability to read technical drawings, follow standard operating procedures, and comply with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with engineers, contractors, and site personnel.
• Willingness to work on-site in Rajpura and spend significant time at construction and installation locations.
