Tag Management Specialist Full Time

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Tag Management Specialist with expertise in Adobe Launch and a strong architecture mindset. This role requires someone who can design scalable tagging frameworks. Not just implement one-off custom trackers. You will manage tagging solutions that handle billions of events annually, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and minimal impact on site performance. Reporting to the Marketing Technology Manager, you will collaborate with marketing, engineering, and analytics teams to support data-driven decision-making and optimize digital experiences.

What you’ll do & how you’ll make your mark.

• Architect Scalable Tagging: Design and maintain tagging strategies that scale across multiple properties and platforms.
• Adobe Launch Implementation: Set up, configure, and deploy Adobe Launch tags across multiple digital properties.
• Tag Management: Manage tagging processes, including organized implementation of new tags, updates, and troubleshooting.
• Data Layer Development: Work closely with developers and analysts to implement and maintain a robust data layer that supports accurate tracking and reporting.
• Integration: Ensure seamless integration between Adobe Launch and other marketing platforms, such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, and other third-party vendors.
• QA & Validation: Perform rigorous QA for standard marketing pixels (Facebook, Floodlights), custom pixels (e.g., podcasts, IoT ads), and server-side pixels.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and analyze the performance of tags and recommend improvements to ensure optimal site performance.
• Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for all tagging implementations, processes, and configurations.
• Collaboration: Work with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, plan, and execute tagging strategies to support marketing and analytics objectives.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues with tracking and tag deployment, ensuring minimal disruption to data collection.

Who you are & what you’ll need to succeed.

• Overall Years of Experience: 3 – 6 years.
• Adobe Launch Experience: 2-3 years. Absolute minimum 2 years.
• Ecommerce Experience: 2-3 years. Absolute minimum 2 years.
• Marketing Pixel Validation: Absolute minimum 2 years.
• Architecture Mindset: Ability to think beyond one-off implementations and design scalable tagging frameworks.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to meticulously manage and verify tagging accuracy across multiple platforms and environments. Strong attention to naming conventions, and adherence to tagging architecture. Be consistent in updating documentation.
• Experience: 3 years of experience with Data Collection and Tagging. 2+ years of experience in ecommerce tag management specifically. Specific expertise in Adobe Launch (or Google Tag Manager (GTM) or Tealium IQ) 2 years minimum.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in tag management platforms (Adobe Launch, Google Tag Manager), JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Experience with data layers and API integrations. An openness to take on new tools.
• Analytics Tools: Knowledge of digital analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, or similar platforms.
• Third-Party Platforms: Hands-on experience with marketing pixels in the ecommerce space, experience with client side (server side nice to have). Experience with deploying 3rd party scripts. At the minimum, some exposure to Privacy compliance implementation.
• Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to identify issues and implement solutions quickly.
• Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
• Certifications: Adobe Launch, Google Tag Manager or Adobe Analytics certification is a plus. Openness to learning new tools.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with server-side tagging. Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA. Basic understanding of digital marketing campaigns. Adobe WebSDK preferred, not required Experience with Customer Data Platform ingestion nice to have, not required.
