Role Description

The Network Specialist in this part-time and remote role will manage and maintain network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security. Daily responsibilities include configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting network devices to ensure efficient operation. The role also involves designing network solutions, implementing best practices in network security, and supporting the connectivity requirements of internal teams. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and documentation of network changes will also be crucial in this role.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Network Administration, including day-to-day management of network systems
• Proficient in Network Troubleshooting to identify and resolve connectivity issues efficiently
• Experience in Network Security to ensure the protection of data and communication channels
• Strong skills in Networking and Network Design to create efficient and scalable network solutions
• Familiarity with cloud-based network environments and remote troubleshooting tools
• Ability to work independently in a remote and part-time capacity
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+) are a plus
