Job Description
MAJOR ACTIVITIES –
- Preparation of Monthly GST workings, Filing of GST Returns, other Tax payments & returns, assisting in GST Annual Returns/Audits, Tax Audit etc
- Ensuring Monthly/Quarterly/Annual compliance with Statutory Requirements
- Assisting in preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements as per Indian GAAP/ IND AS and as required by RBI.
- Ensure that the Books of Accounts are properly maintained and updated on day to day basis and implementation and adherence to internal control policies and standards.
- Liasoning with Internal, Tax & Statutory Auditors for timely completion of Audits.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements under GST, Income Tax act, companies act etc.
- Providing accurate and timely financial information for regulatory reporting/ ad hoc group requests
Relevant Experience
- Experience in GST, Income Tax, accounts closing activity & related compliances.. Experience in Financial Services Industry will be an advantage.
- Experience in core financial reporting function and understanding of the key accounting principles under Indian GAAP and IND AS.
- Experience of Oracle would be beneficial.
