Job Purpose:The job purpose of a Shift Engineer – Printing in solar manufacturing is to manage and optimize printing processes to ensure efficient production of high-quality solar cell components, minimizing downtime and driving continuous improvement in process performance & Equipment Availability.

Responsibilities

PL Machines Management and Operation:

• Operate and maintain PL (Printing/Laser) machines to ensure precise and efficient printing and laser processes for production.

Breakdown Response And Troubleshooting

• Address and resolve PL machines breakdowns promptly, analyzing issues to prevent future occurrences.

Process Optimization

• Monitor and optimize printing processes for consistent and high-quality solar cell component production.

Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA)

• Implement CAPA plans promptly for major breakdowns, ensuring quick resolution and putting preventive measures in place to minimize downtime.

Quality Control

• Ensure printing operations adhere to quality standards and specifications.

Safety And Compliance

• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations during all maintenance and operational activities.

Documentation And Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of process parameters, equipment maintenance, and production outputs and daily check sheet.

Team Leadership And Training

• Lead and support a team of technicians or operators, providing guidance, training, and fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify and implement process optimizations to enhance printing efficiency and effectiveness.

• Lead of Cell Maintenance

Qualifications

Educational Qualification:

• B.Tech/ Diploma – Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical
• Desired Qualification : BE/BTech

Work Experience (Range Of Years)

• Min 2 – 5 years of experience in printing operations for solar cells, managing print quality, process optimization, and equipment maintenance.
