Head of Commercial Marketing
We are looking for a strategic commercial leader to drive the transformation of Plantations & Purple Patch Farms from a commodity-led plantation business into a premium, market-led agri enterprise.
This is not a conventional marketing role.
This is a high-impact commercial leadership mandate focused on:
✔ Price realization
✔ Premium market positioning
✔ Specialty coffee & branded produce growth
✔ Channel-wise revenue strategy
✔ Plantation-to-market value creation

🔹 Key Responsibilities
☕ Commercial & Revenue Leadership
• Own price realization across all product categories
• Build differentiated pricing strategies across:
– Traders & Wholesalers
– Modern Retail
– HoReCa
– Specialty Coffee Buyers & Chains
☕ Specialty Coffee & B2B Growth
• Build relationships with roasters, importers, specialty buyers & coffee chains
• Position coffee as estate-specific, traceable & consistent in cup profile
• Lead crop narratives, sample dispatches & contract negotiations
🌍 Brand Storytelling & Digital Growth
• Build premium origin stories around Western Ghats plantation heritage
• Drive digital marketing & brand storytelling across B2C and premium B2B channels
• Develop authentic packaging and communication reflecting sustainability, biodiversity & plantation authenticity
• Scale online brand visibility through content, storytelling, partnerships & premium positioning
🌱 Cross Functional Leadership
• Work closely with plantation operations, supply chain & buyers
• Lead market visits, buyer education & strategic partnerships
• Act as the external voice of the company across markets and institutions.
🎯 Ideal Candidate
✔ 8- 12 years experience in:
Agri commodities | Fresh Produce | Food Exports | Specialty Coffee
✔ Strong exposure to:
• Commercial negotiations
• Estate/farm environments
• Premium food or agri brands
• Revenue-led market development
✔ Comfortable operating across:
Plantations 🌱 | Markets 📈 | Boardrooms 🏢
✔ A long-term value builder who respects land, labour & legacy.
