What you will be doing:
- Install, configure and maintain IBM MQ on various platforms including Linux, Unix and windows.
- Monitor the health and performance of IBM MQ queues, channels and other objects to ensure optimal functioning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to message delivery failures, performance bottlenecks or system errors.
- Manage Security aspects of IBM MQ, including user authentication and authorization. SSL/TLS encryption and access control.
- Conduct capacity planning to analyze message traffic patterns and growth trends, ensuring the scalability of the IBM MQ infrastructure.
What you will need:
- 3 – 6 years of experience in IBM MQ system Admin.
- Strong Knowledge of IBM MQ Installation, configuration, monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Hands on Experience in AWS/EKS, Docker, Kubernetes.
- Hands on Experience in Scripting – Python, Shell, Ansible or any Orchestration tools.
- Added knowledge in DevOps – CI/CD – Jenkins, Bitbucket etc.
- In-depth knowledge of networking, computing platform, storage, database, security, middleware, network and systems management, and related infrastructure technologies and best practices.
